This year I've been really lucky to get a ballot place and so don't have to fundraise a specific amount. However I thought it would be a shame not to put the place to good use - this year I'm splitting my fundraising between two charities that are very close to my heart. The first is the Cystic Fibrosis Trust as my step-neice is unfortunate enough to have this life-threatening disease. The CF Trust funds research into finding a cure and supporting the families of those suffering from it.

The other charity is the Acorn's Children's Hospice in Selly Oak, which many BVHers may be familiar with. Its an amazing place which gives respite care to life-limited children. The hospice is run almost entirely on donations so every penny really does help to make a difference.
