Thanks to everyone who ran and supported the road relays. Mel did an amazing time, which none of us could hope to match, and gave up a day with her boys at scout camp to run, I know you were torn, thank you. Margaret put in a fantastic performance to take a minute of last years time. Kat ran well, despite waking with a cold, and nearly took a Rowheath runner, good job!! I ran last and was very lonely for the most part, so thank you so much to Dean, Kevin and Jon for being there at my lowest ebb to cheer me on, you kept me going :-). And thanks to Helen for being our reserve, and master time keeper.
Not sure whether to thank Paul or not, loved seeing him near the end, wasn’t quite so sure as I was nearly collapsing through the exit tunnel……
